ART DIRECTOR - Graphic Professional 2D+3D - User Interface Designer...
Leadership roles in visual software & development with a preference for coordinating the intersection of animation, modeling & video. I've played producer, production manager and production artist and I am as comfortable wrangling diverse team members towards completion as unifying diverse elements in a composition.

I bring 15+ years experience in all aspects of visual and user interface design and am familiar with modern software development processes and rich media production. I have developed to market numerous consumer and professional product interfaces and overseen development of international broadband interactive television systems and content. I have deep knowledge of all standard production tools and significant ability to transform wide-ranging elements into a tightly and elegantly designed user experience. I've prototyped system level UI advances for Apple as well as applications for professionals and consumer multimedia solutions - primarily with Director and Flash. I can manage small to medium sized groups of talented, but temperamental people with diverse skills and work habits to accomplish difficult productions on time and budget.
I'm as comfortable polishing pixels as presenting shiny corporate pitches.

After studying architecture & painting in college I turned a parallel fascination with computer graphics from hobby to a professional career. A bit of ambition and lots of luck made me privy to witness, and participate, in some great changes in how people work with images and text data as society moves from analog to digital. Along the way I've met some of the pioneers of the software and media industries and learned a lot about what works and what doesn't.
If your reading this posting, then I might be able to help you.
